Fragmental 3D
Recently, a new game called Tetra3D has been released to the App Store. This game bears a striking resemblance to Fragmental 3D. Since Aesthetic Interactive is committed to providing original and innovative software, we felt it necessary to demonstrate these similarities in defense of our software.

The developer of Tetra3D has been informed of these concerns and about this webpage. Ideally, the notes here will encourage action from the developer.

We should be clear -- 3D Tetris is not a new idea. However, Fragmental 3D innovates by providing new and interesting gameplay aspects, such as the controls for movement/rotation, full camera rotation, new piece shapes, and completely original artwork/graphics.

There are various notable similarities between these games:
  • The force-drop slider and pause button seem to be copied directly from Fragmental 3D.
  • The other button styles are very similar to the buttons in Fragmental 3D.
  • The night sky stars/space background
  • The concentric rings texture on the floor/ground
  • The unique shape of the pieces (understandable, as there are limited combinations of 4/5 cubes)
  • Other general similarities in style/appearance
